Participants in our Internship Programme (jointly held with Ashurst LLP, our Formal Law Alliance partner) will be considered for Practice Training Contracts which may be offered to those who have performed exceptionally well and have met the requirements expected of a Trainee Solicitor.
Summer Internship Programme
Our four-weeks internship is opened for rising 2nd and 3rd year law students who are eligible for 2025/2026 Training Contract. The internship programme is designed to provide you with some legal work experiences and have a realistic taste of life as a trainee solicitor. You will have the opportunity to work with different practices and will be supervised by a qualified solicitor.
As part of the programme, we will arrange a series of training sessions to enhance your legal skills and industry knowledge. You will gain an in-depth understanding of our practice areas from sharing sessions and legal training workshops. There will also be some social events for you to interact with our colleagues.
The internship will form part of the assessment training contract consideration.
Internship dates:
- Monday, 5 June - Friday, 30 June 2023
- Monday, 3 July - Friday, 28 July 2023

Training contract with ADTLaw & Ashurst
Law students who have completed the summer internship programme with Ashurst may be considered for a 2025/2026 training contract. During the internship, interns will be asked to complete a written assignment and based on interns' performance, they may be invited for an interview for training contract consideration.
Our training programme is 24 months in duration. You will first go through a Practice Training Contract with ADTLaw. Following your admission to the Singapore Bar, you will then embark on a Post-Qualification Training Programme with Ashurst that may consist of seat rotations.
Honorarium
You will receive a competitive honorarium during the course of your Part B examinations and for the duration of your Practice Training.
